Funda Ergun received her BS in Computer Engineering and Informations Science from Bilkent University, and her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University in 1997. After her Ph.D. she was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania and then a member of the technical staff in the Networking Research Department at Bell Labs, Murray Hill. She has been on the CWRU faculty since August 1999. She spent the 2001/2002 academic year as a Visiting Scientist at NEC Research Institute, Princeton. Her research interests are Quality of Service, routing and table lookup, algorithms for massive data sets and combinatorial property testing.
